Building upon the heritage and strengths of The Perse School for Girls, one of the most successful schools in the country, the Stephen Perse Sixth Form College offers a unique sixth form experience. It will bring a new vitality to sixth form education, making the 16 -19 educational experience challenging, dynamic and, above all, rewarding.
In classes with a maximum size of 14 students, we place great emphasis on discussion, interaction and enquiry. The atmosphere is one that fosters lively group discussion whilst also allowing you to develop at your own pace. We are keen to help you find the inquisitiveness that characterises the best in sixth form education.
The Fitzwilliam Building has been totally refurbished to provide state-of-the-art sixth form facilities. It has been designed in sympathy with the specific needs of sixth form education, giving an inspirational environment in which to learn. The building is fully networked and every student has his or her own wireless laptop. The teaching classrooms are complemented by four purpose-built laboratories, a language laboratory and a multimedia suite, ensuring we make the very best use of the latest technology. |
| Bursaries & scholarships: |
The College uses its Bursary funds to enable students from lower income families to join and to help any students at the College who find themselves experiencing financial difficulties.
A number of scholarships and exhibitions are offered by the Governors for entry to the Stephen Perse Sixth Form College. These are awarded on academic merit and are open to both internal and external candidates.
