Bursaries & scholarships:

Bursary support is available to new pupils over the age of 11 whose parents are unable to pay the full tuition fee. Academic Scholarships are awarded to pupils aged between 11.0 and 11.11 years, of high academic promise who would benefit from the opportunity of attending The King's School, and who could contribute to the academic and general life of the School. The maximum award available in the Junior School is 15% of tuition fees.

In addition to 17 choristers who are supported by the Dean and Chapter of Ely Cathedral, suitable boys who qualify for entry into Ely Cathedral Choir will be granted a bursary of 50% of fees for the duration of their time in King's Junior School.

Specialist scholarships are also available in Music, Art, Drama, Design and Sports.

Entry requirements & test dates:

Applicants spend a day in the School in the January prior to entry, when they will be interviewed in an informal way and sit Standard Assessment Tests in English, Mathematics and Non-Verbal Reasoning.
